The CNA Testing Procedure and Scoring¶
Testing Procedure¶
The Computer Network Analysis (CNA) module includes two exams: a Knowledge Exam and a Practical Exam.
The Knowledge Exam consists of 75 questions designed to assess your recall of the key concepts covered in the CNA course. This exam aims to evaluate your understanding of the objectives presented at the beginning of each module.
The Practical Exam includes 10 questions that assess your ability to apply the concepts learned in the CNA course to practical scenarios. The goal of this exam is to ensure that you have the necessary skills to handle real-world situations in the field of network analysis.
Both exams are essential components of the CND certification process and are designed to comprehensively evaluate your knowledge and proficiency in the field of network analysis.
Exam procedure¶
The exam consists of a total of 60 questions. There are 50 knowledge-based questions, each worth 1 point, and 10 practical application questions, each worth 5 points. You will have 2 hours to complete the exam, and a minimum score of 70% is required to pass. The maximum possible score is 100%. Please manage your time carefully to ensure you complete all sections.
